Yes, France is safe for tourists, and Guillaume is right. Many countries have these problems, the US and the UK in first place!
I've just arrived in San Jose California, where the streets are quiet but the skies are full of planes. I'm doing some stuff on Findability at KMWorld & Intranets, and giving the keynote speech via blog and telephone for Rencontre Internationale des Responsables Intranets à Paris (16-17 novembre). There are a lot of talks and workshops here on blogging, and I'll be blogging them on my French blog "Le carnet by jmc" and my English blog "Globally local" over the next few days.
See you soon, I hope Guillaume, and I'll update you on my experiment with the CAC 40 bloggers.

I am seeking a blog on the shipping industry in France or a related site that deals with this subject matter. Understand that there are many unions in France and would like a related blog to them as well if they operate in the shipping industry.
Appreciate your comments and lead in information.
Regards, Lord Knight

You are the second Alist blogger that is saying France is safe for tourists.

It may be interesting to get information if the number of tourists decrease because of the riots.

Best,
